What to expect

No matter how friendly and welcoming a church is, visiting any church for the first time can be a little intimidating. You're probably wondering things like What's the church like? Are they friendly? Will I fit in?

Hopefully our website can answer many of your questions to help make your first visit with us more relaxing and enjoyable.

  • Getting here is pretty easy. Check our Service Times & Location for directions. Parking is available on the West, North, and East sides of the building.
  • CCC is fully wheelchair-accessible via curb ramps and an elevator once you are inside.
  • As you come in the main entrance, you'll immediately encounter our Welcome Desk where you can obtain information and someone to answer any questions.
  • Everyone is welcome. We welcome people of all ages, races, nationalities, ethnic groups, and whatever your place in life.
  • There is plenty of seating available in the sanctuary on the main floor. Sit wherever you like; there aren't any reserved seats.
  • Our worship services are easy to follow (an order of service is provided in the bulletin) and they last about an hour. Our music is a blend of the great hymns and the best of contemporary worship.
  • Guests are never singled out or embarrassed. We won't ask you to stand or wear a name tag or anything like that. We want you to be yourself and feel comfortable!
  • We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month. All who have placed their trust in Jesus Christ are welcome to partake!
  • You don't have to pay anything. We don't expect our guests to put anything in the offering plate, though you are certainly welcome to if you would like. Our members and regular attenders freely give to support our ministries.
  • Child care is available during Sunday morning classes and worship with staffed nursery rooms for infants and toddlers. Generally older children (5 year olds - 6th graders) begin the service in the Sanctuary and are invited to their classes about 20 minutes into the service.
  • There is coffee and tea,  available in the lobby immediately after Sunday Worship. No charge, just help yourself.

Let us know you are coming!
